Whittier Narrows Golf Course, is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Rosemead, California, only 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. Whittier Narrows has two Courses, They are The Whittier Narrows Eighteen Course, and The Whittier Narrows Nine Course.
The Whittier Narrows Golf Facility is beautifully set on 260 acres of the Whittier Narrows Park with mature tree lined fairways and views of the San Gabriel Valley Mountains.
The Whittier Narrows Nine first opned for play in 1960. The course was designed by William F. Bell.
The Whittier Narrows Nine Course plays to a 9-hole par of 34 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 2,525 yards. The course rating is 35.5 and the slope rating is 112.

I play this 9 hole course in about one hour and forty five minutes. They take walk on singles anytime, so there is minimal waiting time. It has two par 5's, 3-par 3's, and 4-par 4's. Challenging enough, and fun.
